International Courier Price Comparer
Shipping costs vary a lot between carriers, and outside the UK they also depend on how far the parcel is going. A box that’s cheap to send across town can cost three or four times as much to send across the country.
Choose the country you’re sending within and how far the parcel is going, then enter its measurements and weight. We’ll show every service it fits, cheapest first: USPS, UPS and FedEx in the US, Canada Post in Canada, Australia Post in Australia and NZ Post in New Zealand. Sending within the UK? Use our UK courier price comparer for Royal Mail, Evri and InPost.

Prices checked October 2026. Royal Mail prices are its online rates from 5 October 2026 (buying at a Post Office counter costs more). Evri and InPost prices are their standard online rates for individual senders. Prices include VAT and can change, so confirm on the courier’s site before booking.
Speeds are each courier’s target, not a guarantee. Evri’s maximum dimensions for larger parcels aren’t listed on its price page, so check them for big or awkward items. InPost locker sizes are 8, 19 and 41cm deep (all 38 x 64cm), up to 15kg. Business accounts and marketplace labels (eBay, Vinted, Amazon) are often cheaper.
Not included: DPD (quotes per booking), Parcelforce and courier comparison sites. See our shipping company reviews for reliability and service quality.
Prices checked November 2026. USPS prices are its retail prices from 12 July 2026, plus USPS’s temporary holiday increase, which applies until 17 January 2027 and is dropped automatically after that. Buying online through a shipping platform is usually cheaper. Local, regional and national use USPS zones 2, 4 and 8. Parcels over one cubic foot are charged on dimensional weight (L × W × H ÷ 139), and USPS adds fees for parcels over 22 inches long or over 2 cubic feet, which are included here.
UPS Ground prices are estimates: UPS’s 2026 published daily rates plus the $6.50 residential surcharge and the 30.25% Ground fuel surcharge in force from 2 November 2026. UPS charges on dimensional weight (÷ 139). FedEx prices are One Rate (FedEx 2Day) in FedEx’s own free packaging, effective 20 April 2026. Fuel and peak-season surcharges can change weekly, and both UPS and FedEx add peak surcharges until mid-January.
USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail are compared up to 70 lb, UPS up to 20 lb and Priority Mail Express up to 10 lb; weights between UPS and Express price steps are priced at the next step up. Priority Mail Express prices don’t include any holiday increase. Sales tax isn’t charged on postage. Speeds are targets, except Priority Mail Express and FedEx 2Day, which are money-back guaranteed. See our shipping company reviews for reliability.
Prices checked November 2026. Canada Post prices are its counter (consumer) prices, including the fuel surcharge (41.6% in November 2026), before GST/HST. They come from Canada Post’s own rate finder for a parcel sent from Toronto: local is within Toronto, regional is Toronto to Ottawa and national is Toronto to Vancouver. Prices from other cities will differ a little, so confirm on Canada Post’s site.
Weights between the listed steps are priced at the next step up. Regular Parcel is charged on volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 6,000) and Xpresspost and Priority on L × W × H ÷ 5,000 when that’s more than the actual weight. Flat rate boxes cost the same anywhere in Canada, up to 5 kg. Solutions for Small Business members get discounts of up to 39% online.
Not included: Purolator, UPS and other couriers, which only quote per shipment. See our shipping company reviews for reliability.
Prices checked November 2026. Australia Post prices are its retail prices from 1 July 2026, including GST. Up to 5 kg the price is the same anywhere in Australia. Prepaid satchel prices include the satchel; own-packaging prices are postage only and are charged on weight or cubic weight (L × W × H in metres × 250), whichever is more.
Parcels over 5 kg (up to 22 kg) are priced by destination, so use Australia Post’s postage calculator for those. Express Post is next business day within its delivery network and slower outside it. MyPost Business accounts get lower prices.
Not included: Aramex, CouriersPlease and other couriers, which only quote per shipment. Sendle stopped operating in Australia in January 2026. See our shipping company reviews for reliability.
Prices checked November 2026. NZ Post prices are its retail and online prices, including GST. Parcels up to 3 kg use a size ticket, and the price is the same anywhere in New Zealand. NZ Post bags cost $1.50 to $3.00 extra. Add $6.00 for a rural address.
Larger parcels (up to 25 kg) are priced by distance. Across town is a flat price. Within an island and nationwide, you pay for every 5 kg block of actual or volumetric weight (L × W × H in metres × 200), whichever is more. Courier Economy is only offered for nationwide large parcels.
Not included: Aramex, NZ Couriers and other couriers, which only quote per shipment. See our shipping company reviews for reliability.
Tips for paying less on postage
Check the distance first. In the US, Canada and New Zealand, prices rise with distance. In the US, a 3 lb parcel sent coast to coast can cost nearly twice as much as one sent nearby, so it’s worth knowing where most of your customers are.
Watch the box size. Big, light parcels are charged on their size rather than their weight (dimensional or volumetric weight). Using the smallest box that protects the item can drop you into a much cheaper price.
Use flat rate packaging for heavy, compact items. USPS Flat Rate boxes, FedEx One Rate, Canada Post flat rate boxes and Australia Post satchels cost the same however far they go. They’re often the cheapest way to send something dense over a long distance.
Buy online or open a free business account. Counter prices are the highest you’ll pay. Shipping platforms in the US, Canada Post Solutions for Small Business and Australia Post MyPost Business all offer lower prices for the same services.
Allow for extras. UPS and FedEx add fuel and residential surcharges that change weekly. NZ Post charges extra for rural addresses, and US carriers add peak-season surcharges from October to mid-January.
